Jamie Hart - Mama Bear (Goldie B. Locks and the Three Singing Bears)
Jamie is a classically trained soprano and musical theatre performer who studied performance voice with Dame Malvina Major completing her Bachelor of Music with Honours at the University of Canterbury.
Since then Jamie has studied with Sharolyn Kimmorley, Lois Johnston, and Amelia Farruggia. Jamie has performed in opera, musical theatre shows, and concerts with New Zealand Opera, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Southern Opera, and Showbiz Christchurch.
Notable roles and engagements include Mrs. Emily Cratchit in Philip Norman’s opera A Christmas Carol for Toi Toi Opera, Lucy in Gian Carlo Menotti’s opera The Telephone, Gigi in the New Zealand premiere production of Miss Saigon for Showbiz Christchurch, Christmas Eve in Avenue Q, Mercedes in the television production of Hope and Wire, ensemble in the iiNet Bob ads, and she voices Miranda Tsai in The Whitewash audiobook.
Jamie conducts the Sing Your Heart Out choir in Christchurch and has a career in Digital Product Management with the University of Canterbury.
