Cole Moffatt - Angelica’s Son

Cole is 11 years old and is in year 7 at Medbury School where he has been awarded a 2-year Music Scholarship. He has been singing and dancing from the age of 3, and is classically trained with an interest in all music genres. While he loves learning singing, he also plays the guitar, piano, ukulele and violin. He has obtained Grade 5 Trinity Rock and Pop Vocal, Grade 4 Trinity Classical Vocal and Grade 2 Piano.

Cole has been involved in Medbury Choristers, Medbury Chorus, Medbury Orchestra, Hip Hop, Kapa Haka, Junior Choir, Christchurch and Northwest Music Festivals. In 2020, Cole played the role of Omar in the Riccarton Players production of Aladdin, and was involved in the Showbiz Triple Threat Academy and a number of Court Theatre workshops.

In his spare time Cole enjoys introducing the Medbury preschool music and movement group children to the joy of music and loves to entertain residents in local rest homes. Cole is excited to start off 2021 with the opportunity to be in his first opera!
